The After Party in the Mansion will take place inside the event venue on Saturday evening, Sept 28th. Hours TBD.

The different ticket levels are as follows:

Omega: $750 + fees (SOLD OUT)

VIP Early Bird: $315 +fees (Limited Supply)

VIP: $350 (Limited Supply)

General Admission Early Bird: $63 + fees 

General Admission: $70 + fees

Kids under 12: Free!

Single Day Saturday: Available at the door $50 (subject to capacity)

Single Day Sunday: Available at the door $40 (subject to capacity)

Friday, 9/27: Pre-registration is open from 6:30pm to 8pm.

Saturday 9/28 & Sunday 9/29: Registration opens at 9am. General Admission ticket holders may enter at 10am. VIP & Omega ticket holders may enter at 9:30am.

Yes, unless the event is sold out. Purchases can be made at the registration booth.

Single Day Passes will be available for purchase at the door.  Children under 12 are free.

No, not exactly. The Uncanny Experience is an immersive fan convention hybrid. Attendees are allowed to wear plainclothes or cosplay/costumes.  One floor is dedicated to convention elements like a vendor hall, autograph areas, panel rooms, etc, and one floor is dedicated to the immersive elements for those who wish to enroll as a student, attend classes, and graduate at the end of the weekend.  The student uniform cardigan is now available for pre-sale.  Visit this link to order your uniform.

Everyone will receive Student IDs (as their floor badge), and all attendees are welcome throughout the building on all floors.

No, your ticket gets you access to the event all weekend during opening hours.  This is not an immersive event that has timed entry with limited hours inside the venue.

Tickets for The Uncanny Experience are non-refundable and non-cancellable. Please plan accordingly to ensure your attendance to this exceptional event. If, however, unforeseen circumstances force us to reschedule the event, your tickets will automatically transfer to the new date. 

The Uncanny Experience is not responsible for lost or stolen badges.  Any replacement badges will require a full ticket fee.

Please respect the privacy and ask before taking a picture of the celebrity guests, as some of them charge for their photos and autographs.

Yes, cosplay by attendees is highly encouraged! Come as a student of the Xavier Institute or as your favorite mutant hero or villain.

Only Omega & VIP Pass holders will have the opportunity to customize their Student ID badge with a photo and choice of power set.  Those with General Admission Passes will have a generic silhouette image as a “photo” and will receive a randomized power set.  

No pets are allowed except registered service animals.

Yes, you must always wear your admission badge within the venue.

Guns are banned on the premises.


All costume props and weapons need to go through a weapons check located by the registration desk upon entry. The props will be checked and tagged.


No functional props or real weapons (i.e. swords, knives, brass knuckles) are allowed at The Uncanny Experience. If it can be categorized as a weapon or considered to be a danger, it will not be permitted at the event.


If security deems a device, object, or weapon that you are carrying to be dangerous, you will be asked to leave. If you use a prop in a harmful way to others or yourself, you will be asked to leave without reentry or refund.

We do not tolerate harassment at The Uncanny Experience. If you feel you are experiencing or witnessing harassment in the form of unwanted physical touch, offensive verbal comments, stalking, disruption of panels/events, unwanted filming or photographing, etc. please inform a staff member wearing a staff badge and/or security immediately. Anyone asked to stop any harassing behavior is expected to comply immediately or they will be required to leave the event without reentry or refund.

COVID-19 POLICY

We suggest that you maintain good hand hygiene by washing your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Hand sanitizing stations will also be available throughout the event venue.

Cover your nose and mouth when you cough or sneeze.

While we do not enforce strict physical distancing, we encourage everyone to respect personal space and be mindful of others’ comfort levels.

Though not mandatory, we encourage attendees to wear masks, especially in crowded or indoor areas. Respect others’ choices regarding mask usage.

There will be no specific requirements for masks or vaccines to enter the event.

All attendees will be welcomed, regardless of vaccination status or mask preference. Your cooperation and responsible actions are vital in making this event a success while keeping everyone protected.

ADA ACCOMMODATIONS
The Minneapolis Club is wheelchair accessible. Sign language interpretation is available for panel programming. When checking in, inform the registration desk attendant that you require an ADA sticker for your badge. They will provide you with an ADA sticker and an ADA companion sticker. These stickers will indicate to staff and security that you may need extra assistance. One companion sticker is given per ADA sticker. We will have a first aid/quiet room for those who need it.

Yes, you are welcome to bring outside food and water.  There is limited food available inside the venue so we encourage using Uber Eats, Door Dash, or Postmates to have food delivered to you at the event.  Or, enjoy one of the many neighboring restaurants in downtown Minneapolis.

The venue will serve hot food, snacks, soft drinks, coffee, and a full service bar with speciality cocktails.

Yes, the guests will have varying prices for their autographs and photo ops which can be purchased on-site during show hours. Availability is on a first come first serve basis. VIP and Omega ticket holders will have priority access lines.  Majority of autographs and photographs will be CASH ONLY.

Lost & Found is located in the main lobby at the Registration Desk.

Xavier Institute School Rules

Respect for All: Treat fellow students, faculty, and staff with respect and kindness, regardless of their mutant abilities, background, or appearance.

No Harmful Powers Usage: Refrain from using mutant abilities to cause harm or discomfort to others, both inside and outside the campus.

Confidentiality: Keep the identity of mutants and sensitive school information confidential. Do not disclose the school’s location to outsiders.

Timely Attendance: Attend classes and training sessions promptly and consistently.

Dress Code: Follow the school’s dress code, ensuring appropriate attire for both academic and training activities.

No Unauthorized Equipment: Do not bring unauthorized weapons or dangerous equipment onto campus.

Zero Tolerance for Bullying: Bullying, discrimination, and harassment based on mutant abilities or any other factor will not be tolerated.

Safety First: Follow safety guidelines during mutant training exercises and always prioritize the safety of yourself and others.

 

Responsible Power Use: Use mutant abilities responsibly, avoiding reckless or unnecessary displays of power that could endanger others.

Curfew: Adhere to designated curfew times and be mindful of nighttime activities.

Mutant Identification: Always carry your mutant identification and school badge while on campus.

Environmental Respect: Maintain a clean and respectful environment by disposing of waste properly and caring for school property.

Participation: Engage actively in academic and extracurricular activities, contributing positively to the school community.

No Unauthorized Experimentation: Avoid conducting mutant-related experiments without supervision or proper authorization.

Conflict Resolution: Seek non-violent solutions to conflicts and report any disputes to faculty or staff.

No Mind Manipulation: Do not use telepathic or mind-controlling powers on others without their consent.

No Trespassing in Restricted Areas: Respect restricted areas and labs, adhering to designated access permissions.
